Summary
Mini camp is a transitional camp experience from day camp to overnight camp designed for grades 3-4. Children will have all the adventure and fun the older kids receive including sleeping overnight in the camp cabins but for a shorter duration.

Kids are encouraged to be creative and bring items/costume pieces from home. Our craft shack has all sorts of things available for campers to utilize for this theme. We enjoy seeing the creative takes campers display on theme nights.

Registration and drop off: Camp Wapiti on Tuesday July 8 at 3:30pm
Pick up: Camp Wapiti on Thursday July 10 at 12:30pm

Packing List
Bring:
Hygiene items (Toothbrush, deodorant, Shampoo, Soap etc.)
Camping foamy
Sleeping Bag
Pillow
Clothes for the week (sufficient for all kinds of camp activities and weather, we get dirty and play hard)
Footwear (normal, and for hiking)
Water Bottle
Sunscreen & Bug Spray
Bible (if you have one)
Notebook & pen
Swimwear for water activities
Towel
Hat
Flashlight
Jacket
Banquet outfit
Medications or puffers (we have over the counter)
Any fun extras you would like to bring to share with your cabin.
FYI: Snacks are provided at camp. Campers are allowed to bring extra snacks but will be required to store them in the dining hall so not to attract wildlife.
Do not bring:
Electronic devices or phones (They will be stored in the directors cabin for the duration of camp if you do. Campers can call parents through camp phones if needed)
Trading Cards, toys, valuables, or things that can be broken or lost
Money. We do not have a tuck shop or a camp snack store.
Directions
South on Hwy 40
Turn left on to Township Rd 704A (The 4th set of lights after the intersection by the Eastlink)
Then immediately turn Right on to the gravel road RgeRd 62 (Wapiti Gravel Pit Access)
Follow the Camp Wapiti and Aquatera signs (around the gravel pit)
Go up hill out of the gravel pit, at the top of the hill go right
Then when you get to the fork in the road, go left towards Camp Wapiti following the signs (Right will go to Aquatera)
Stay to the left, past the gate, and into camp
***When using google maps be sure to enter Camp Wapiti (entrance). Otherwise it takes you a complicated long route. ***
