WHO – All ages welcome

WHAT – A handful of Cornhole tournaments throughout the day, as well as bouncy castles, burger stand and snack shop, and more! Prizes to be won!

WHERE – McLaurin Baptist Church Parking Lot

WHEN – June 4th, 2022 – 1pm activities begin, 7pm prize draws and wrap up.

WHY – To enjoy the sport, to connect with others, to have fun, and to raise funds for Camp Wapiti in the process!

WHAT ARE THE COSTS? – one fixed entry fee per person gets you access to all events, activities, and tournaments.

HOW DO YOU PLAY? – Players (or teams) stand a fixed distance away from a wooden board with a hole in it, with four cornbags. Players alternate throws. Bags on the board are worth 1, bags in the hole are worth 3. The difference is scored, and another roud takes place. This continues until one player reaches or exceeds 21 points. HOW LONG IS A GAME? – Each game can take anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes, or more. If circumstances require it on tournament day, a time limit (or lower score to win may be implimented in order to keep events on track.

ARE THERE ONLY TOURNAMENTS? – NO! We’ll have several challenges and activities available for anytime participation so there will always be something to do between games! These include LONG TOSS, Mini board LONG TOSS, BLIND TOSS, and an Board Design Competition! As well, every social game you play will earn you tickets you can use to enter the door prize draw of your choice!

 

ENTRY COST

Kids: (12 and under)  –  $10

Youth: (age 13 – 17)  –  $20

Adults: (age 18+)  –  $40

Baby / Toddler / Non Participant  –  Free

Entry cost covers ALL tournaments, events, and activities!

1:30 – Kids tournament starts

2:30 – Youth singles, adult doubles tournament starts

4:00 – Youth doubles, adult singles starts

5:30 –  Intergenerational tournament starts

7:00 –  Door Prize draws to close off event
