Every week at Camp is unique and fun filled. It is a place where kids come, be themselves and experience the love of God. The Camp Wapiti staff goal is to give each camper an week that will remember and have a lasting impact on them.
This wonderful environment is a great place for children to learn about God and experience Him through nature.
Since 1963 Camp Wapiti has been helping people, young and old, encounter God in nature. From our beginning, when Camp was run from the trunks of cars, we have sought to love children and take care of the world around us. Camp Wapiti is located in the Wapiti Corridor. We are a hike away from the river and the sand dunes. Set off the beaten track there is lots of opportunity to see wildlife, insects and plants not generally seen in the city.
Spend some time walking the trails, playing on the Sand Swing, creating in the Craft Shack, eating and laughing in our Dining Hall, or sitting quietly and listening to the “night sounds” at the Upper Campfire.
Camp Wapiti is for all children from gr 1-12.
God has some great things for you, and we hope you’ll come join us for the best week of the summer you’ve ever had.
